Weston Chief, Detective Give First-Graders A Lift To School

WESTON Conn. -- Two first-graders got the ride of their lives when Weston Detective Cris Powers and Chief John Troxell drove drove Jameson and Tyler to school in one of the Weston PD's Humvees (HV1).

The "Ride To School With The Chief" was a silent auction prize presented at the "Children's Connection" fundraiser. 

Kari Pesavento, director of Children's Connection said on Facebook that she had a wonderful time this morning with Troxell and Powers.

"They graciously offered a 'Ride to School With The Police Chief' for our SoNo Stroll Fundraiser. Clearly the highlight of these little boys' day," she said.
