Wanted Westport Woman Arrested After Shop Disturbance

WESTPORT, Conn. – A Westport woman wanted in connection to several reported larcenies was arrested Saturday after officers responded to a disturbance at Achorn’s Pharmacy at 289 Post Road E., police said.

One of the people police said was involved in the disturbance — Lynn Sclafani — was wanted on four arrest warrants.

The warrants stem from an incident in which police responded to Scalfani's West Parish Road home to look for a vehicle that may have been there, police said. While at her home, officers saw numerous items that matched the description of the items taken in several larcenies, the police report said.

The total value of the items stolen was approximately $12,000, police said.

Sclafani was charged with third-degree larceny, a felony. She was also charged with two counts of fourth-degree larceny, one count of sixth-degree larceny and disorderly conduct, all misdemeanors. She was released after posting a $5,000 bond and is due in Norwalk Superior Court on April 2.
