Video: Third Suspect Spotted In Street Beating In Westport

WESTPORT, Conn. -- Police are searching for a third suspect involved in a fight on Post Road East in Westport on Tuesday, and have released video of the suspect fleeing the scene after kicking a man while he was on the ground.

Police responded to the Volvo dealership on Post Road East at around 9 a.m. Tuesday on a report of a fight in the middle of the road. After officers arrived, one person had fled the area, but they arrested Fernando Morales, 41, of Derby, and Rafael Valle, 34, of Bridgeport.

Westport Police released dashboard cam video of the incident on Wednesday, which shows one man chasing down another man and beating him in the middle of the street. A second vehicle then stops in the area while the assault is going on. The driver of the second vehicle is seen getting out and kicking one of the other men while he is on the ground. He then gets into his car and flees the scene, continuing westbound on Post Road East.

Police are still searching for the driver of the second car, who was wearing a dark t-shirt with white lettering on the back, jeans and a baseball hat. The car is a red-bronze or rust colored Ford Explorer, possibly with a Maryland registration.
