WESTON, Conn. -- Travis Arnette, a 12-year veteran of the Weston Police Department, has been promoted to sergeant, according to the Weston Forum.
Before serving in Weston, Arnette spent four years with the Westport Police Department. In Weston, Arnette is the department’s firearms, rifle and Taser instructor, in addition to training new officers, said the Weston Forum.
Originally from Norwalk, Arnette has a master’s degree in public administration, a master’s degree in forensics psychology and a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from the University of New Haven, added the Weston Forum.
