STRATFORD, Conn. — Stratford police on Thursday arrested a second Bridgeport man in connection with the armed robbery and shooting at BAR earlier this month.

Jachim Brown, 30, was arrested at Bridgeport court on an arrest warrant for the Nov. 14 incident, police said.

He was charged with first-degree robbery, first-degree assault, first-degree threatening, criminal possession of a pistol/revolver, criminal possession of ammunition and carrying a firearm without a permit, police said.

Brown was held at court on a $500,000 bond and was arraigned.

On Nov. 28, police arrested Eric Chamber, 33, of Bridgeport, in connection with the BAR shooting.

Chambers was apprehended by members of the Fugitive Task Force as the result of a warrant issued for his arrest, police said.

He was charged with first-degree robbery and was held on $250,000 bond, police said.

Chambers is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 6.

Chambers was the driver of the getaway car used in the robbery in Stratford Center, according to the Connecticut Post.

Brown is also facing attempted murder charges for allegedly exchanging gunshots with an off-duty police officer and being involved in four robberies in Bridgeport, police said.

He was arrested Nov. 15 after shooting at an off-duty officer during a violent armed robbery at EbLens in Bridgeport, police said.

Brown entered BAR in Stratford Center, approached the bartender and demanded money, police said. The bartender handed over cash and then Brown shot him once in the abdomen, police said.

A GoFundMe has been started to help Regi Woodard, the bartender who was shot at BAR. He has undergone multiple surgeries at Bridgeport Hospital.
