Stratford Man Arrested On Shoplifting Charges At Grocery Store In Westport

WESTPORT, Conn. -- A Stratford man was arrested on shoplifting charges after he was captured on video surveillance taking items from Stop & Shop in Westport, police said.

Westport police said Kristopher Flint, 44, charged with sixth-degree larceny, was arrested on an outstanding warrant after being identified by the Fairfield Police as the person on the surveillance footage, police said.

The video shows Flint putting items in his cart and then taking them out to his car without paying, police said. 

Flint posted $1,000 bond and has a court date in Norwalk on Thursday, Feb. 11.
