WESTON, Conn. -- The Weston Volunteer Fire Department responded to car crashes during Wednesday's snowstorm.
A two-car crash on Broad Street on Wednesday afternoon sent one person to the hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries, the Weston Volunteer Fire Department said. The Weston Police Department and EMS also helped at the scene.
In the morning, a two-car crash closed down Georgetown Road as it left a van overturned and the second car severely damaged.
The Weston Volunteer Fire Department blamed icy conditions on local roads as contributing to the crashes.
