The man arrived at the gym at 5065 Main St. at about 9:30 p.m. in his 2013 Hyundai Sonata, police said. He left his keys and belongings in an unlocked locker in the men’s locker room while he worked out, police said.

When he returned to his locker about an hour later, his keys were missing, police said.

A check of the parking lot found that someone had stolen his car, which also contained his cellphone, wallet, credit cards, cash and several other personal items, police said.

The vehicle was located a short time later in Bridgeport with the keys in it, but minus his personal belongings, police said.

Trumbull Police remind everyone to properly secure personal items when you will be away from your car for some time.
