David Dagley, 43, was charged with third-degree burglary, conspiracy to commit third-degree burglary, fifth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit fifth-degree larceny. He was held on a $50,000 bond and will appear in court on Jan. 28.

The arrest stems from an incident on Nov. 4, 2015. Police said that at around 1 a.m. Dagley and an accomplice, Jacob Dagley, threw a rock through the front glass window of the store on Main Street. They then went in and stole $545.61 worth of cigarettes, according to police.

Following the burglary, police said that the two were involved in a high speed chase with the Milford Police Department and were arrested.

Westport detectives used the store's surveillance video to connect the two to the crime, police said. They also had the stolen goods in their possession, according to police.

Arrest warrants were issued for the two men. Jacob Dagley was charged in the incident last week. David Dagley turned himself in to the Westport Police Department on Tuesday, Jan. 19.
