Sherry Neustadt was arrested Saturday, March 1, after a local business reported that a female had shoplifted items from the store and then fled in a vehicle, according to the police report.
Officers in the area were able to locate and stop the vehicle and Neustadt was identified as the suspect, police said. More than $2,900 worth of items from two different businesses was recovered during the arrest, police said.
Neustadt was charged with fourth-degree larceny, a misdemeanor. She was held on $500 bond and scheduled to appear at Norwalk Superior Court on March 10.
