WESTPORT, Conn. — A 46-year-old Westport man was charged with assault after he slapped a victim during an argument, police said.
On Saturday, Oct. 14, officers were dispatched to a Westport residence on a report of a disturbance, police said.
Upon arrival, officers learned the victim and Justin King had an argument, during which King slapped the victim, police said.
King was taken into custody, arrested and charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct.
He was initially held on $500 bond and was scheduled to appear in Norwalk Superior Court on Oct. 16.
