Police Identify Stamford Teen Killed In Bridgeport Shooting

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- Police have identified the teen killed in a shooting in Bridgeport Saturday as 18-year-old Shane Slinksky of Stamford, according to the Connecticut Post.

Authorities told the Connecticut Post that Slinksky appeared to have been in Bridgeport to buy drugs when he was shot twice in the head on Wood Terrace. This is the sixth homicide in Bridgeport this year.

Police are continuing to investigate the incident, but have not revealed any suspects or motives, the Connecticut Post reported. They have interviewed witnesses who heard gunshots in the area, but have not yet spoken to anyone who witness the shooting, nor have they found shell casings, according to the Connecticut Post.
