WESTPORT, Conn. -- A Stamford man was arrested after police said he was caught peeking into the bedroom window of an ex-girlfriend's Westport home.

At around 1 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 24, officers were dispatched to a Westport home on a report of a man looking through a second-floor bedroom. The man was identified as 23-year-old William Mcadoo of Stamford, police said.

The resident of the home told police that she had previously dated Mcadoo and had not spoken to him in months, police said. Officers learned that Mcadoo did not have permission to go to her home.

Mcadoo was taken into custody and charged with disorderly conduct. He was released on a $500 bond and scheduled to appear in court later that morning.
