Police were dispatched to the I-95 southbound rest stop in Fairfield on Nov. 9, 2016, where the woman said she and her 5-year-old son were sitting in their car, the Connecticut Post reported. She said that a van driven by 62-year-old Salim Abadi of Bayside, N.Y. pulled up near them, and that Abadi pulled his pants down and began masturbating while looking at them, according to the Connecticut Post.

Abadi drove off but was arrested a short time later and charged with risk of injury, public indecency and breach of peace, according to the Connecticut Post. While appearing in court on Monday, Superior Court Judge William Holden granted him accelerated rehabilitation, the Connecticut Post reported. Under this program, he does not plead guilty, and if he commits no other crimes during the next year, the charges will be dismissed.
