NORWALK, Conn. — A woman was charged with leaving two kids in her car while she shopped in Norwalk, according to the Hour.

Police were called to 330 Connecticut Ave. Thursday night at around 8:30 p.m. when a passerby reported that two kids were left alone in a car, the Hour reported. Police said that 41-year-old Ildamar Arias-Valencia had left a 7-year-old and an 18-month-old unattended in the car for more than half-an-hour while she shopped at T.J. Maxx, according to the Hour.

She was charged with two counts of leaving a child unsupervised and released on a promise to appear in court.
