Norwalk Police Seek Second Teen Missing Since December

NORWALK, Conn. -- Norwalk police are seeking the public's help in searching for a teenage girl who has been missing since December.

Police are asking for the public's help in locating Karen Vanessa Chirino, 16, last seen in Norwalk on Dec. 15.

Karen Vanessa Chirino is a 16-year-old Hispanic female with black hair and brown eyes. She is about 5 feet, 3 inches tall and weighs about 145 pounds. She was last seen in Norwalk on Dec. 15, police said.

Police believe Chirino may be in the company of an adult male and may be in the Bridgeport area.

The Special Victims Unit is investigating the disappearance of Chirino.

Anybody with any information about her whereabouts or disappearance is asked to contact Norwalk police at 203-854-3113.

Chirino is the second teen reported missing since December, with Norwalk police investigating. Last week, Norwalk police asked for the public's assistance in locating 14-year-old Storm Sorrentino. Sorrentino was last seen in Norwalk on Dec. 21, and police believe he may be in the company of an adult female relative.
