WESTPORT, Conn. – A 24-year-old man from North Carolina is facing motor-vehicle charges in Westport stemming from an accident that happened in July 2011, police said.
Daniel Stefkovich is accused of crashing into and damaging the wooden bridge on Harbor Road in the Saugatuck section of Westport. He did not stop and report the accident, police said.
Stefkovich was arrested Friday on a warrant and released on a $1,000 bond. He is due in Norwalk Superior Court on Jan. 28.
