Motorcyclist Killed In Three-Vehicle Crash In Brookfield

BROOKFIELD, Conn. — A motorcyclist was killed in a three-vehicle crash late Saturday on Candlewood Lake Road near Huckleberry Hill Elementary School in Brookfield, police said.

The identify of the motorcyclist who died had not been released as of Sunday afternoon, pending notification of family.

The Brookfield Police Department is investigating the accident that involved two cars and one motorcycle at about 10:20 p.m.

The motorcycle operator died at Danbury Hospital, police said. An occupant of one of the vehicles was also taken to Danbury Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

An ongoing investigation is continuing by Brookfield Accident Investigation Team (B.A.I.T). Candlewood Lake Road was closed after the accident.

No further information was released on the crash.
