Man Pistol-Whipped During Armed Robbery At Milford Home

MILFORD, Conn. — Milford police officers are looking for two suspects in an armed robbery who pistol-whipped a victim on the head early Saturday.

At about 2:30 a.m. Saturday, the male victim and female victim arrived at his Wood Avenue residence, police said. They were attacked by two armed robbers while still in the car after parking, police said.  

"It is believed the suspects were lying in wait," Milford police said. 

"Both unknown suspects were armed with handguns. One suspect stole cash from the male victim along with his cellphone," police said. "The other suspect stole the female’s cellphone and jacket."

The male victim was transported to the hospital due to severe injuries to his head and face after he was pistol-whipped, police said.

Police did not have a detailed description of the two suspects, who were seen leaving the area in a gray four-door SUV by a witness immediately after the attack, police said.
