Man Found Shot To Death In Bridgeport Motel

An unidentified man was found dead in a motel room in Bridgeport, the fourth homicide of the year.

Police received a call around 11:30 p.m. Monday of shots fired at the Sunny Side Inn, 145 Lake St., said Av Harris, spokesman for the Bridgeport Police Department.

When officers arrived on scene they found a middle-aged black male who suffered at least one gunshot wound, said Harris.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene, he added.

Detectives are working to confirm his identity.
