Man Deposited Daughter's $10K In His Account, Westport Police Say

WESTPORT, Conn. — A North Branford man was arrested Tuesday after Westport police say he deposited a $10,000 check belonging to his daughter into his own bank account.

Robert Tricarico, 60, of Branford Avenue, was charged with second-degree larceny when he was unable to explain why he deposited the check to his own account and was unable to repay the amount, police said.

He was held on $5,000 bond and has a court date of Aug. 4, police said.
