Former Westport Traffic Agent Pleads Guilty To Drug Charges

WESTPORT, Conn. -- A former traffic agent for the Westport Police Department recently pleaded guilty to charges of attempting to distribute Oxycodone, according to thehour.com .

David Wolvovsky, who was not a sworn employee of the force and did not have arrest powers, was arrested along with another suspect, Jayhova Charters, in July 2013 after he purchased a tableting machine, thehour.com said.

Authorities then searched Wolvovsky's apartment and found a non-narcotic white powder, drug packaging and manufacturing paraphernalia along with $10,000 in cash, thehour.com reported.

Wolvovsky will be sentenced on Sept. 15, according to thehour.com.
