Tyler Wesley Johnson, 24, of Parrot Avenue, was charged with third-degree larceny, illegal use of a credit card, receiving goods/services obtained illegally, third-degree identity theft, criminal impersonation and second-degree forgery, police said.

Johnson was arrested on a warrant at court, where he was being held on another matter, police said.

The victim reported his wallet missing when he got home from work on March 23, 2016. Upon calling to report his lost credit card, he learned that $3,819 in unauthorized charges had been made at the mall, including the purchase of several R-rated Xbox video games from Target, police said.

Officers studied store surveillance video from the mall and checked the pawn shop database, police said. That led them to East Coast Pawn in Bridgeport, where Johnson had used his own ID to pawn some of the items, police said.
