In both cases a white male entered the CVS at 1968 Black Rock Turnpike and went to the pharmacy counter threatening the pharmacy technician that if he does not comply with his request "People will be hurt," according to police.

In each instance, the employee complied, and the robber fled the store with approximately 1,000 OxyContin tablets, police said. The total of approximately 2,000 tablets have a street value of nearly $20,000, according to the report.

OxyContin (oxycodone) is a narcotic analgesic that is used to reduce pain, noted police. It is a controlled substance, and its high content of oxycodone makes it popular on the street, according to police.

The suspect is described as a white male, average height, average build, wearing a baseball style cap and gloves, said police.

In the first incident he was carrying a backpack, and in the second incident he was carrying an umbrella, according to the report.
