At about 12:50 p.m., a customer left her wallet in her purse at the top of her shopping cart, and a male shopper grabbed her wallet while her back was turned, the video shows. The incident was captured on the store's close-circuit security cameras.
The thief appears to be a white or Latino male wearing a white baseball cap, black jacket and black jeans, police said. The victim's credit cards were used illegally after the theft, police said.
