Fairfield Cops: Thief Made Off With Prescription Pot ID Card

FAIRFIELD, Conn. — A Knapps Highway woman who left her car unlocked overnight told police she lost two purses, one containing her medical marijuana ID card, police said.

The woman, who reported the theft at 1:30 a.m. Sunday, believes someone took the purses between 2 p.m. Saturday and 1 a.m. Sunday, police said.

Missing are a beige knit bag containing a Verizon flip phone, $25, her driver’s license, medical marijuana ID and other cards and her mother’s black Anne Klein bag worth $50, police said.

The car was parked in the driveway.
