WESTPORT, Conn. – A 23-year-old Bridgeport man was charged with multiple counts of larceny in connection with thefts reported at the Westport Radio Shack in 2011, police said.
James Barnes, a former Radio Shack employee, is accused of stealing two items from the store and making 12 fraudulent refund transactions while he worked there, police said.
Barnes was arrested last Tuesday on a warrant and charged with 14 counts of sixth-degree larceny, a misdemeanor. He was released after posting a $5,000 bond and is scheduled to appear at Norwalk Superior Court on Thursday.
