The town's schools were still running on generators, and police warned of downed trees and wires throughout town.
Eversource is on the scene making repairs. At one point Thursday morning, a total of 2,557 customers without power in the town, or a whopping 67 percent of the town, according to Eversource.

- Weston Road/Route 57 closed at School Road
- Newtown Turnpike closed at # 232
- Cartbridge Road closed near Buttonball
