EASTON, Conn. -- Easton police arrested a Trumbull woman who went to the station to file a larceny complaint Saturday, Nov. 9, and she ended up spending the long weekend behind bars, according to Patch.com.

Susan Zimmerman, 52, filed her complaint that $1,800 was stolen from her home, but when officers checked her name, two warrants came up for her arrest on failure to appear for violating a protective order. Zimmerman was held in jail on $20,000 bond, Patch.com said.
