WESTPORT, Conn. — The driver of a pickup truck that rolled over on Interstate 95 near the Westport and Norwalk border early Sunday walked away with no injuries, fire officials reported.
The accident happened shortly after 12:30 a.m., Assistant Westport Fire Chief Larry Conklin said. The driver and lone occupant of the vehicle reported he was traveling north when he became distracted and lost control of the vehicle, Conklin said. The vehicle rolled over and came to rest in the median on the southbound side, between exits 17 and 16, said Conklin.
The driver suffered no apparent injuries, Conklin said. Firefighters from Westport and Norwalk responded to the accident scene.
