WESTPORT, Conn. – A 27-year-old Bridgeport man was charged with a weapons violation when Westport police allegedly found a pair of metal knuckles in his car during a traffic stop, police said.
Domingo Acosta was pulled over Tuesday afternoon for a license plate violation. During a search of the car, police found a pair of black metal knuckles, the police report said. The metal knuckles were concealed under paperwork and other items in the glove compartment, police said.
Acosta was charged with having weapons in a motor vehicle. He was released after posting a $500 bond and is due in court Sept. 14. He was also charged with several motor vehicle violations.
