FAIRFIELD, Conn. — Four cars were rummaged through over the holiday weekend with thieves making off with cash, a diaper bag and a passport from Paraguay, police said.

On Sunday, two Campfield Drive owners reported their cars had been entered. One owner reported $5 to $10 taken from an unlocked car parked in the street and the other said a $30 diaper bag and $47 in cash were taken.

Several things were taken from an unlocked car on nearby Bloomfield Drive, including a Paraguay passport and credit, debit and gift cards.

A car owner on Pine Creek Avenue reported the possible theft of a checkbook on Sunday or Monday.
