WESTPORT, Conn. — A 52-year-old Bridgeport woman was charged with drunken driving in Westport after she was pulled over early Tuesday, police said.
Lynn Cammarota was spotted driving west on Treadwell Avenue when her car crossed over the double yellow center lines several times, police said. When she was stopped, the officer smelled alcohol on Cammarota’s breath and her eyes were red and glassy, according to the police report.
She failed field sobriety tests, and the results of her breath test were 0.147 and 0.150. The legal blood-alcohol level is 0.08.
Cammarota was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and failure to drive in the proper lane. She was released after posting $250 bond and is due in court April 22.
