WESTPORT, Conn. -- A Bridgeport woman was arrested Thursday on harassment charges after violating a protective order in Westport, said Westport police.
According to police, Kaitlin Buggy, 31, turned herself in on an active warrant after police were notified by the victim that Buggy had been in contact several times via text messages over a six-day period earlier in February, police said.
There is an active protective order in place from previous incidents involving Buggy and the victim, police said.
Buggy was charged with criminal violation of a protective order and second-degree harassment. She was held on $25,000 bond, police said.
