Darryl Morris, also known as "King Sincere," 32, and Neshaya Dozier, 26, were detained after the indictment, which alleges between November 2014 and May 2016, the two worked together, sometimes using force, to bring young women to Bridgeport and the surrounding area to work as prostitutes, according to Deirdre M. Daly, United States attorney for Connecticut.
Both Morris and Dozier were charged with one count of conspiracy to commit sex trafficking of a minor and one count of sex trafficking of a minor. Both offenses carry a mandatory minimum term of 10 years in prison and a maximum term of life in prison.
Morris was also charged with one count of sex trafficking by force, fraud and coercion, an offense that carries a mandatory minimum term of 15 years and a maximum term of life.
The case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Bridgeport Police Department, East Hartford Police Department, Stratford Police Department and New York Police Department.
