BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- A Bridgeport man was charged with sexual assault after a 15-year-old girl told police that he impregnated her and gave her a venereal disease, according to the Connecticut Post.

The girl told police that she had met 21-year-old Hasan Khalid over social media, and that he had invited her over to his house, the Connecticut Post reported. When she got there, she said he ripped off her clothes and sexually assaulted her, laughing as he did it, according to the Connecticut Post.

She later learned that she was pregnant, and that she had contracted Chlamydia, according to the Connecticut Post. When she told Hasan about the pregnancy he laughed at her again, the Connecticut Post reported. She terminated the pregnancy and reported the incident to the police, according to the Connecticut Post.

When police confronted Hasan about the assault, he claimed that he didn't know her, the Connecticut Post reported. He was arrested and charged with second-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a child, and held on a $25,000 bond, according to the Connecticut Post.
