WESTPORT, Conn. — Westport Police arrested a Bridgeport man in connection with a break-in at a home on Saugatuck Avenue last month, according to police.
Westport detectives served a felony arrest warrant on Jose Alicea on Thursday at his residence in Bridgeport, police said.
Police said the home was burglarized June 24. Silver coins and change, which detectives were able to partially recover, were stolen from the residence during the break-in, police said.
During their investigation, police discovered information that linked Alicea to the crime, police said.
Alicea was charged with third-degree burglary and sixth-degree larceny, police said.
Alicea failed to post $10,000 bond and was issued a court date of July 23, police said.
