WESTPORT, Conn. The death of James Barber, the 48-year-old Westport resident found dead Monday morning, has been ruled a suicide by the state medical examiners office. An autopsy confirms Barber died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, a spokesperson from the medical examiners office said Tuesday.
Barbers body was found in the wooded area of the Baldwin parking lot off Elm Street in the downtown area at approximately 8:50 a.m. on Monday.
