This letter is from Kim Blechinger, a Republican who was elected to the Weston Board of Education.

To the editor:

Thank you for your vote on Nov. 3rd. I have been overwhelmed by your support and look forward to working with all members of the Board of Education, the Superintendent, and you.

With fresh perspective and a strong independent voice, together, we will create our next generation Board of Education.

Together, we will diligently work to ensure education excellence for our children in a growing global community.

Together, we will continuously look for innovative ways to solve challenges due to fiscal pressures, regionalism, projected declining enrollment and ... what else may come.

Together, we will keep our children safe, loved and thriving.

Thank you so much, it is such a privilege to be able to serve. Your faith in me only inspires my best.
