Wilhelmina Key Kramer, 101, Of Westport

WESTPORT, Conn. - Wilhelmina Key Kramer died Aug. 21. She was 101.

Kramer was born June 10, 1912, in Hannibal, Mo., to Wilhelmina, (Minnie) Walter and William Tipton Key. She graduated from Hannibal LaGrange College. She worked as an administrative assistant, before taking a position at the Missouri Ordinance Works in Louisiana, Mo., where she rose to head the personnel department. After marriage the family moved to Weston in 1955. She became a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. In the 1960s, she started and owned a successful small business, “Crock ‘n Bowl” in Ridgefield. She was a member of the Drum Hill DAR of Wilton for more than 50 years.

Kramer is survived by her children, Richard Key Kramer, Carolyn Kramer and Cynthia Kramer; and nieces, Kandace Key Bearly and Janamarie Key Dugle. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard M. Kramer.

There will be a service at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 26 at St Paul’s Lutheran Church, Westport. This will be followed by a graveside service and burial at Grandview Cemetery in Hannibal, Mo., where she will be laid to rest alongside her husband and family.
