WESTPORT, Conn. – Wanda E. A. Kokoszka, a former longtime Westport resident, died Nov. 12 at her home in Newtown, Conn. She was 74.
Kokoszka was born May 21, 1938, in Brooklyn, N.Y., to Frank and Wanda Randic Keating. She worked for many years at National Airlines, where she developed a love for traveling. She lived in Westport from 1964 to 1998 and served as PTA president, a member of the Library Board and worked in the Westport school system.
She was married to Stanley J. Kokoszka, who survives. She loved to be with family and had a great appreciation for American Indian Culture. She loved wearing and collecting hats of all kinds and had a vast owl collection.
Kokoszka is survived by two sons, Stanley (Miriam) Kokoszka Jr., of Newtown, and David Kokoszka, of Westport; and three grandchildren.
In keeping with her wishes, there will be no services. Honan Funeral Home in Newtown is handling arrangements.
