SOUTHPORT, Conn. - Pauline E Kycia of Southport died Dec. 10. She was 85.
Kycia was born in Norwalk, to Andrew and Sadie DiProspio. She was a graduate of Norwalk High School, class of 1946. She married Big Bill in 1954 and resided in Southport ever since. She retired from Westport School System. She was a bowler with the Westport Woman's League and later with the Fairfield Seniors.
Kycia is survived by her sons, David of Southport and Bill (Faith); two grandchildren; sister, Eleanor James of Brookfield; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; and husband, William Kycia Sr.
Calling hours are Saturday, Dec. 14 from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. in the Edmund Dougiello Funeral Home of Fairfield, 36 So. Pine Creek Road, Fairfield. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Dec. 14 at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home and at 10 a.m. in St. Thomas Church, Fairfield. Interment in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Fairfield.
