WESTPORT, Conn. -- Mary E. Hansen, 85, wife of Waldemar Hansen and 52-year resident of Westport, died Sunday.
She was born July 8, 1930 in Brooklyn, and was the daughter of the late Matthew and Alice (McCrory) Wilson.
After graduating high school, she worked as a legal secretary. She was active in her churches and worked as a Sunday school teacher and sang in the church choir.
Survivors, in addition to her husband of 61 years, include three sons; David Hansen of Stamford, Craig Hansen and his wife Grace of Cary, N.C. and Todd Hansen of Westport; and one brother; Tom Wilson and his wife Eileen of Mount Kisco.
The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. Thursday at the Harding Funeral Home, 210 Post Road E. A memorial service will follow the calling hours in the funeral home.
Interment will be private.
