Marie Frost, 94, Of Westport

WESTPORT, Conn. - Marie Frost of Westport died Monday, Oct. 14. She was 94.

Frost was born Aug. 8, 1919, in Morristown, N.J., daughter of Barbara Brewster Taylor and Dr. Inglis F. Frost and the granddaughter of William Brewster, of Brewster Carriages. She spent her earlier years growing up in New York and later years in Southport. She was an honorary member of the Fairfield County Hunt Club. She was employed by the Museum of Modern Art in New York and J. Walter Thompson, Toronto, Canada. She volunteered at the Pequot Library in Southport, The Fairfield Women's Exchange in Southport, Meals-on-Wheels in Bridgeport and Pegasus Therapeutic Riding for the disabled. She was a member of the Trinity Church in Southport. She was also a member of the Cosmopolitan Club, New York and the Society of Mayflower Descendants.

Frost is survived by her brother, William B. Taylor "Bruce" of Ecuador; nephews; great nieces and nephews; and a cousin. She was predeceased by her parents; and sister, Barbara Thorburn.

There are no calling hours. A private burial will be held Friday, Oct. 18 at the family plot in Hamden. A memorial will be held Saturday, Oct. 19 at 11 a.m. in celebration of her life at the Trinity Church in Southport followed by a reception at the Fairfield Hunt Club for family and friends.
