Breaking News: ID Revealed For Victim In Fatal Bridgeport Shooting

Lester Nagy, 86, Weston’s WW II Marine Veteran And Master Carpenter

WESTON, Conn. - Lester Nagy of Weston died March 5. He was 86.

Nagy was born in Taconic, N.Y., Jan. 11, 1927, son of Elizabeth Szabo Nagy and Stephen Nagy, Sr.

A U.S. Marine Corps veteran of WWII, he was honorably discharged July 15, 1946. He was a self-employed master carpenter for more than 60 years.

Nagy is survived by his wife, Piroska; two daughters, Cindy (Kenny) Carden and Lorie Waite; brothers, George Nagy of Norwalk, Benedict and Anthony Nagy both of Weston; two grandchildren and a great grandchild; a stepson Ferenc Nagy and four step grandchildren. He was predeceased by his first wife, Camille and by two sisters and five brothers.

Calling hours will be Thursday, March 14, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Bouton Funeral Home , 31 West Church St. Georgetown, Conn. Burial at the convenience of the family in St. John Cemetery, Norwalk.
