TUCSON, Ariz. -- Judith Gallen of Westport, Conn. and Tucson, Ariz. died on Dec. 28, 2014 at her home. She was 81.
Gallen was an avid painter, reader, and a grand socialite.
Born on Oct. 31, 1933, Gallen lived a rich and full life and touched so many people. She was a loved mother, sister, aunt and grandmother.
She is survived by her four children, Jim Gallen of Texas; Andrew Gallen and his wife Amy of Redding, Conn.; Peter Gallen and his wife, Wendy, of Tucson, Ariz.; Sarah Gallen and her wife, Felice Zwas, of Stamford, Conn.; and her grandchildren, Derek, Jason, Christopher, Samuel, Elizabeth and Abigail.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lustgarten Foundation, for pancreatic cancer research. Arrangements were by Evergreen Mortuary & Cemetery, www.evergreen-tucson.com.
