Irene O. Deegan, 88, Former Resident Of Westport

NORWALK, Conn. - Irene O. Deegan of Norwalk, and formerly of Westport, died Saturday, Nov. 29. She was 88.

Deegan was born Dec. 6, 1925, in New York City, to Francis and Mary (O'Leary) O'Moore.

Deegan is survived by her sons, William James Deegan of Shelton, Thomas Francis Deegan of Westport, James William Deegan of Westport and Robert Emmet Deegan of Kentucky; daughter, Ellen Marie Deegan of Greenwich; and two granddaughters. She was predeceased by her parents; and husband, William J. Deegan Sr.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5 at Assumption Church, 98 Riverside Ave., Westport. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery on Kings Highway in Westport.
