WESTPORT, Conn. – Francis Thomas "Tom" Fanning, formerly of Westport, died Jan. 8. He was 32.

Born in 1981 in New York City, he was the son of John and Ann Marie Fanning. He graduated from Staples High School in 2000 and Fordham University in 2004. According to his professional LinkedIn profile, Fanning worked as an account manager for Edmunds.com in Santa Monica, Calif.

He is survived by his parents, and a brother, Mike, of Santa Monica.

Visitation is 2 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Shaughnessey Banks Funeral Home in Fairfield. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Luke Church in Westport. Burial will be private.

Memorial donations may be made to the Fordham University Men’s Lacrosse Club, 441 E. Fordham Road, Bronx, NY 10458.
