WESTPORT, Conn. Dudley H. Speros of Westport and Rindge, N.H., died June 7 after a brief illness. He was 50.
Born Dec. 28, 1961, in Winchester, Mass., he was the son of Arthur C. and Sandra D. Hall Speros. He was a 1980 graduate of Dover-Sherborn High School. Speros continued his education at Nasson College and graduated from Clark University in 1985 with a bachelor's of science degree.
He served as senior vice president in the consumer products division of Trinity Packaging Corp. in Armonk, N.Y. Speros enjoyed the outdoors, sailing, fishing and dining with friends. He was an avid sportsman and enjoyed shooting at the Peterborough Sportsmen's Club.
Speros also enjoyed fishing with his friends, whether at Lake Monomonac or off the coast of Westport in Long Island Sound. He also enjoyed cruises around the lake and time on the deck talking with friends and listening to music. He was a former commodore of the Lake Monomonac Sailing Association and was currently serving as vice commodore.
Speros is survived by his wife, Carol-Ann "C.A." Gladue Speros; a daughter, Catherine "Cate" Speros; two sisters, Cindy Speros Hale and husband J.D. of Winchester and Susan Speros Perry and husband Adam of Medfield, Mass.
