WESTPORT, Conn. - Donald Michael Denke of Westport died Sept. 1. He was 51.
Denke was born Nov. 22, 1961, in Norwalk, son of Frank and Marjorie (Miller) Denke. He was a graduate of Staples High School in Westport and Denver Automotive and Diesel College in Colorado. He was employed by the Town of Westport for the past 30 years with his most recent position as head mechanic.
Denke is survived by his daughters, Robyn and Amanda of Wilton; girlfriend, Kimberly Romano of Bridgeport; brother, Frank Denke of Westport; sisters, Mary Lee Rotella (Angelo) of Westport and Pam Fortner (Mark) of New Hampshire; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; and brothers, John Denke and Merritt Denke.
Calling hours are Thursday, Sept. 5 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Harding Funeral Home at 210 Post Road E. in Westport. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 6 at Assumption Church, 98 Riverside Ave., in Westport.
